Static HTML vs. a marketplace theme

When a WordPress theme still makes sense

If you publish new posts every week, run a large online store, or have several people editing the site, WordPress gives you an editor and plugins built for that. For a local business whose site mainly brings in calls and bookings, a static template is faster, simpler and costs less to keep running.

Questions about HTML templates

What is an HTML website template?

A finished website saved as plain files: HTML for the words and layout, CSS for the look, and a little JavaScript for features like booking forms and price estimators. You change the text and photos, upload the folder to a web host and it is live.

Do I need WordPress or a page builder?

No. These templates do not use WordPress, a page builder or a database. Any standard web host can serve them, including Hostinger, Namecheap and most others.

Do I need to know code?

No. Each template comes with a plain-language setup guide for changing your words, photos and colors. If you would rather not touch it, we can build it for you for $99.

How do the contact and booking forms work?

The forms send to your email through a free Formspree account. You paste one link into one settings file and every form on the site starts working. There is no server code to install.

Are hosting and a domain included?

No. You choose your own host, and you buy your domain name yourself, in your own name. A small business site usually runs on hosting that costs a few dollars a month.

How many websites can I use a template on?

The standard license covers one live website, for your own business or for one client. Agency licenses cover unlimited client websites.
