Privacy policy
What we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect
We collect only what you choose to send us, and basic technical information needed to run the site:
- Form details: your name, business name, email, phone number, links and messages you send through our forms.
- Speed test: the website addresses tested with our free speed test, the scores Google gave them, and when. Tests are run by Google PageSpeed Insights, so the address you test is also sent to Google.
- Purchase details: what you bought and when. Card details are handled by Stripe and are never stored by us.
- Technical data: standard information your browser sends, such as IP address and browser type, which our hosting provider may log for security.
How we use it
- To prepare your mockup, quote or website, and to reply to your messages
- To deliver templates you buy and send receipts
- To provide and bill for monthly service
- To keep the site secure and working
We don't sell your information, and we don't send marketing emails unless you've asked for them.
Who we share it with
Only the services that help us run the business, and only what they need:
- Stripe, which handles payments
- Google, which runs the free speed test on the website address you enter
- Hostinger, which hosts this website and delivers form messages to our inbox
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies and visit counts
This site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't use Google Analytics or any other outside tracking service.
To see which pages are useful, our own server counts visits: the page opened, the site you came from, whether you're on a phone or computer, and buttons clicked (such as Buy or the mockup form steps). Each visitor is counted with a scrambled code that changes every day, so we can't tell who you are or follow you from one day to the next, and your IP address isn't saved. These counts are kept for 120 days.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to 24 months, and customer and billing records for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing info@shopsitetemplates.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act.
Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
