A one-time website suits most owners. These four points tell you whether it suits you.

You pick the host

The files run on any standard web host. You sign up with the host, upload the folder, and the setup guide walks you through it.

You make the edits

Changing hours, prices or photos means editing simple text files with the guide. If you want someone else to do it, that is what our $49 a month plan is for.

One license, one site

A standard license covers one live website per template. Building sites for clients? Our agency licenses cover unlimited client websites.

Updates stay free

When we improve a template you bought, the update is yours at no charge, and we fix any bug in the template for free.

Why paying once can also mean faster

A one-time template has no platform running underneath it. The page your customer opens is the page we wrote.

Nothing extra to load

Plain HTML, CSS and a little JavaScript, with self-hosted fonts and compressed images. Phones get the page without a heavy editor in the way.

One-time payment website questions

Is a one-time payment website really free of monthly fees?

There are no monthly fees to us for a template. Every website still needs hosting, paid to the host you choose, and a domain name you register yourself, usually about $10 to $20 a year.

What kind of hosting do I need?

Any standard web host works, because the templates are plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript with no database to run. The setup guide shows you how to upload the folder.

Can I move my website to a different host later?

Yes. The files are yours, so you can copy the folder to a new host at any time and point your domain at it. Nothing is locked to us.

What if I want help after I launch?

We fix any bug in a template for free. If you want someone to host it and make edits for you, our $49 a month plan covers hosting, security and 1 hour of edits for sites we build, suites we set up and custom designs.

Is a template collection also a one-time payment?

Yes. The Standard Template Collection is $129, and Every Template is $199 until November 30, 2026, then $249. Each is paid once, with one live website per template.
