Photography Website Template
A website for portrait, headshot and wedding photographers that lets clients build their session and see the quality of your retouching.

What's built in
A ready-made portrait photography layout with a gallery, retouch slider and session builder. Everything below works in the demo right now.
Gallery
A clean gallery that puts your work first.
Retouch slider
A before-and-after slider that shows your editing style.
Session builder
Clients choose session type and extras and see a price.
Process and promise
How a session works from first message to final print, and what every session includes.
Date check and FAQ
A booking request for a date and answers to common questions.
A photography layout built to show your style
Clients choose a photographer by the work first and the price second. They want to see your style, understand what a session includes and check whether you are free on their date.
Aura Portrait puts the gallery and a retouch slider first, lets clients build their session with a price, walks them through the process and ends with a date request.
Set up Aura Portrait for your photography business
Clients hire a photographer for their style, then book on price and availability. Set up the gallery first, then the session pricing.
Curate the gallery to the work you want
Show 12 to 20 of your best images in the kind of sessions you want more of. If you want more headshot clients, lead with headshots. Fewer, stronger photos beat a long scroll.
Pick a retouch example that shows your style
The retouch slider works best with a portrait where your editing is clear but natural: skin, light and color. It answers the question clients are too shy to ask, which is how they will look.
Price sessions the way you sell them
The session builder adds session type and extras like more images, hair and makeup or prints. Use your real packages so the price clients see is the one you send in your booking email.
Spell out your process and delivery
Use the process section to say how long editing takes, how images are delivered and what clients get by default. Clear delivery times cut down on follow-up emails.

Questions about this template
Can I use my own photos in the gallery?
Yes. The download comes with labeled placeholders, so you replace each one by saving your photo with the same name.
Does it work for wedding photographers only?
It works for portraits, headshots, families and weddings. Rename the session types to fit your work.
Can I sell prints or albums?
Yes. Add prints and albums as extras in the session builder, or list them in the process section with your prices.
Does it work for a studio with more than one photographer?
Yes. Use the about area for each photographer and add the photographer as a choice in the booking request.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. The download includes a START HERE guide that walks you through photos, text, colors and going live in plain language. If you would rather not touch it, we build it for you for $99.
Are the demo photos included?
No. The demo uses stock photos to show the finished look. Your download has labeled placeholders that show what goes in each spot and the best size.
Will my site stay this fast?
It ships scoring 98 to 100 on Google PageSpeed for phones, so your pages show up before visitors give up and tap back to Google. What you add changes that: very large photos, chat widgets and extra tracking codes slow any website down. The START HERE guide shows how to shrink your photos and test any page for free at pagespeed.web.dev, so you can keep it fast.
